John
D. Sadoff, MD
A
Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Dr. Sadoff is a native of Ithaca, NY.
He
earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, and
received his M.D. degree from Albany Medical College. He attended
the UMDNJ, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for his General
Surgery training and the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill for Cardiothoracic Surgical Fellowship training.
Dr. Sadoff
is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American
Board of Thoracic Surgery. In addition, he is a fellow of the American
College of Surgeons as well as a member of The Society of Thoracic
Surgeons. He is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
He has received numerous honors including the Ralph D. Alley and
Susan B. Deak awards for excellence in surgical research, and has
done extensive research in heart and lung injury. Dr. Sadoff has
authored numerous papers which have been published in many different
peer review journals.
He is on the medical staff at St. Elizabeth's
and Memorial hospitals in Belleville, and Heartland Regional Center
in Marion, Illinois, as well as Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Festus,
Missouri.
