Bill
B. Daily, Jr., M.D., Ph.D.
A
cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Daily is a native of Oceanside, California.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University
and received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Washington University
School of Medicine. He completed his general and cardiothoracic
surgery residencies at Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Daily is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and
the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. In addition, he is a Fellow
of the American
College of Surgeons and he is a member of The
Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
He has earned numerous honors
and awards including Phi Beta Kappa, the Howard A. McCordock Book
Prize in Pathology, the Lange Medical Publications Book Award, Alpha
Omega Alpha and the Samson F. Wennerman Prize in Surgery. Dr. Daily
has been a frequent speaker and has authored numerous publications
and articles in the field of cardiac surgery.
Dr. Daily is on the
medical staff at St. Elizabeth's and Memorial Hospitals in Belleville,
and Heartland Regional Center in Marion, Illinois as well as Jefferson
Memorial Hospital in Festus, Missouri.
